PLC/Control Panels
EDM has been manufacturing control panels for many industry sectors since the early 1960’s to meet customer requirements.
As technology advanced, control systems have evolved to incorporate PLC’s etc where required.
PLC used are normally to customer requirements and include Rockwell, Omron, Siemens, Mitsubishi, GE etc.
Control systems are generally housed in wall mounted or floor standing enclosures.
Cubicles are usually front access with top or bottom cable access.
Built in accordance with BS EN 61439-2.
Generally, systems are produced to form 1 or 2b construction.
Unless the design requirement dictates otherwise, enclosures used are standard ‘off-the shelf’ type, with a nominal IP rating of IP54 min.
Generally, enclosures are to RAL7035 finish but special paint finish is achievable if required.
System involving drives and soft starters are also designed and manufactured to customer requirements.
